2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

You are having one of those days?

When you feel as if life is passing you by.

Everyone is calling on you for something.

So much to get done until you freeze.

Bills piling up.

Family needs are screaming at you.

Tension on the job

Feeling lonely

One or more of these things can overwhelm you until the stress is unbearable. You feel helplessness and that look like failure. Frustrated that you are in the situation.

Most of what we experience happens through a process of time. Many of those things don’t happen in a day, you just feel it more on certain days.

Ask yourself:

What would happen if I STOP?

Letting life pass me by – I would get up and start doing something that’s within my strength and ability to accomplish.

What would happen if I STOP?

Everyone from calling on me – They would find someone else with answers.

What would happen if I STOP?

Trying to do everything – It would be delegated to others.

What would happen if I STOP?

Worrying about paying bills – I would realize that somethings are beyond my control and seek peace.

What would happen if I STOP?

Trying to meet all the family needs – They do things for themselves.

What would happen if I STOP?

Allowing work to cause me stress – I would separate myself physically and / or mentally (escape) to a quiet place.

What would happen if I STOP?

Feeling lonely – I would close those thoughts and get around people.

You have more control than you think!
